Team Purpose

As a Global Managed Security Service Provider, our is increasingly required to demonstrate security capability and compliance to gain the trust and confidence of our clients. The Pen-Testing Team is part of our effort to respond to this need, to give our clients the assurance that their services are secure and to be a trusted advisor on all matters relating to security.

 

Role Purpose

As a Penetration Tester, you will identify vulnerabilities in computer systems, networks, and applications, helping clients to improve their security posture. Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies, along with excellent analytical and communication skills, are essential. You will also need to ensure all testing activities are conducted ethically and comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

You will work with project teams, overseeing the development of several Cyber security systems. Using a combination of management skills and specific security system knowledge, you will coordinate security projects through its progressive stages, with the goal of project completion within specified time and budget constraints.

 

The ideal candidates will

Have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as a solid grasp of penetration testing methodologies and tools. In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Penetration testers must be able to think creatively to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective remediation strategies. They must be able to work independently or as part of a team to carry out security assessments and help organizations improve their security posture. Strong communication and documentation skills are also essential, as penetration testers must be able to write clear and concise reports that non-technical stakeholders can understand.

 

Responsibility and Accountability
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and social engineering tests to identify potential security threats.
  • Work with clients to understand their specific security needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement penetration testing methodologies and procedures.
  • Document and report on findings and provide recommendations to address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities to stay up to date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page and understand the scope of the testing.
  • Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and best practices to improve the overall quality of work.
  • Ensure all testing activities are conducted in accordance with industry best practices, ethical hacking principles, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality reports that accurately and concisely document findings and remediation recommendations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients by ensuring that communication is regular, clear, and respectful.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of project management principles by managing own workload, providing accurate timelines and progress updates, and identifying potential issues that could impact delivery.

 

Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of network & system administration, protocols, and security principles.
  • Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
  • Familiarity with common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, and buffer overflows.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and write clear and concise reports.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CREST Certifications, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN or other relevant certification in cybersecurity.
  • Excellent English level is a must!
